Dinner

Wow – so it’s been like… I don’t know how long since I blogged……  Sheesh, sorry friends that actually follow this!  I will have more to post later, but what is really on my mind is DINNER.  It’s Monday and I haven’t really truly cooked on a Monday for a few weeks and even longer since I’ve posted a What I Made Monday segment.  Tonight I don’t have anything spectacular planned, but I am sooooo excited for… Spaghetti with Meatballs.  My mouth is watering just thinking about it.  Hopefully I will remember to take a picture before we devour it and don’t fall asleep on the couch have time  to post about its deliciousness later tonight.

Date Night

My husband took me out on Saturday for my birthday. We saw a musical comedy and it was hilarious!

I have been a little behind on updating my blog, but while decompressing after work tonight I decided to play around.  I am up to TEN followers, so it was time to change things up a bit!  What do you think of the new theme?  If you like it, tell your friends to follow too! Week 3/52… Stay tuned

Since procrastination is my new best friend, I spent this evening catching up on work instead of reflecting on the week.  And… (I don’t know if you can see the time stamp on this) it is waaay past my new bedtime, plus I still have a few things to do to get ready for the week. Ugh… always going…

Anyway, I have high hopes that this will be the week I get to schedule my pedicure for losing 10 pounds!  I just finished filling out my food diary for today on My Fitness Pal and I am 600 calories under my goal for the week!  Surely that should equate to something…

More reflecting tomorrow.

Nighty night…

A Challenging Day – The first of many I bet.

Yesterday my right knee started hurting on and off in the afternoon. I took some Advil, put my feet up after dinner and was convinced everything would be great today.  Not so much… I got up this morning to work out and could barely bend my knee.  I was basically pulling my leg behind me as I limped down the hallway to the bathroom. I could not imagine making it safely down the stairs to the garage.  I was either going to fall down the stairs or end up stuck when I couldn’t bend my leg.  So I took some more Advil and headed back to bed.  As the day went on, my knee has limbered up and all of my other muscles have started to hurt!  I will be able to go to the gym tomorrow, but we’ll see about the jogging.  I still came out okay in the end, because according to My Fitness Pal, I still have 200 calories to “spend” today, which is about what I would have burned at the gym!

No other fabulous insights from today, but I would love some advice.  On Wednesdays, my work schedule does not allow a lunch break until 1:30.  Since I usually have my breakfast around 7:30, that’s a loooooong time to go before lunch.   I have students non-stop from 9:00-1:30, so I need some healthy options that take virtually no time to eat (instead of my crackers, candy, etc. that I’m usually turning to).  Any suggestions?
